My journey in the Middle East spanned six years across the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. I worked extensively in the luxury hospitality sector, managing workforce compliance for large-scale hotel and resort operations. In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, I oversaw HR operations for 5-star properties, ensuring alignment with UAE Labor Law, DIFC Employment Regulations, and international best practices.

In Qatar, I was instrumental in preparing hospitality teams for the FIFA World Cup 2022, implementing robust recruitment, onboarding, and compliance frameworks. On land, I managed HR and compliance for multi-unit restaurant groups, luxury hotels, and resort properties. I implemented EEO and affirmative action programs, developed employee handbooks, and led workplace investigations ensuring fair treatment and legal protection for both employers and employees.

At sea, I served on premium cruise lines including Carnival and Royal Caribbean, where I managed international crew compliance across 50+ nationalities. I navigated complex maritime labor laws, including the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006, US Coast Guard regulations, and international employment standards.

🇮🇳 India – 5 Years of Building HR Excellence

Returning to India, I spent five years building HR and compliance frameworks across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nandi Hills, and Chikballapur. I worked with hospitality groups, tech companies, and manufacturing firms to establish robust HR policies, ensure statutory compliance, and build inclusive workplace cultures.

In Bangalore and Hyderabad, I supported startups and scaling businesses in navigating India's complex labor laws, including the Code on Wages, Industrial Relations Code, and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code. I developed POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) policies, conducted employee training, and set up grievance redressal mechanisms.
